| overview
The Bridge to Bay Trail is a multi-jurisdictional trail that spans from one end St. Clair County to the other. It takes many forms, including rail-trail, paved shoulder, shared roadway and sidepaths. While the trail is nearly complete there are still a few gaps in the system along with areas were the trail splits in two, offering different options for getting from point A to point B. The result is that navigating the trail can be difficult with so many options and gaps in the system. The Greenway Collaborative is in the process of creating a signage system that will provide a level of uniformity to the identification, wayfinding and safety signage for the trail. The alternatives provided should help improve trail user experience along with raising community awareness of the trail.
