
The Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan will reflect a consensus vision of how the City of Athens will over time transform its streets, its development patterns, its government and its community outreach to establish an environment that makes walking and bicycling an obvious, safe and attractive option.

A survey was provided in the month of September to collect the priorities and concerns regarding non-motorized facilities in the City of Athens. Over 100 people participated in this survey.

Two public workshops were held to get input from the community. Thanks you to everyone who was able to attend.

Inventory and Analysis Maps were provided to the workshop participants along with a Base Map that was used by the workshop participants to record specific areas of concern.
