Detroit River Overview Map

Overview

The Detroit River is a unique bi-national resource.  It is significant to the region's history and industry, as well as being a significant flyway for migrating birds.  The Greenway Collaborative, Inc. is pleased to have been involved in numerous initiatives for the Detroit River.  The Detroit River Overview Map highlights the park and open space resources along both sides of the river.  It is the first map to successfully integrate the U.S. and Canadian GIS datasets along the Detroit River.
