East Lansing Non-motorized Plan

Overview

The Non-motorized Transportation Plan will reflect a consensus vision of how the City of East Lansing will over time transform its streets, its development patterns, its government and its community outreach to establish an environment that makes walking and bicycling an obvious, safe and attractive option.

Public Workshop:

Two public workshops were held to get input from the community.  Thank you to everyone who was able to attend.

Spring Workshop

This workshop was held on May 27, 2009 at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center.  During this workshop participants identified and prioritized areas in the community where different types of non-motorized elements would fit.  Click here to view the workshop presentation.

Inventory and Analysis Maps were provided to the workshop participants along with a Base Map that was used by the workshop participants to record specific areas of concern.
