University Region Bicycle Map

Overview

In 2000, The Greenway Collaborative, Inc. developed a bicycle facility map prototype for the Michigan Department of Transportation. Click here to see the prototype project page. Since that time, numerous regional governments have created maps based on that prototype.  The Greenway Collaborative, Inc. was retained by MDOT to create the bicycle facilities map for the University Region.

 

The University Region Bicycle Map, submitted by MDOT, received an Honorable Mention in the Transportation Publication category at the AASHTO 2009 GIS Transportation Symposium.
